Yamaha DHR Series Powered Loudspeaker

Installation-Ready Clarity in a Compact 10-inch Format

The Yamaha DHR10 combines a high-grade plywood enclosure, 700 W Class-D bi-amplification and Yamaha’s precision DSP in a compact powered loudspeaker engineered for clear, controlled sound. Its rotatable 90° × 60° horn and comprehensive mounting options make it especially effective for fixed installations, fills, speech reinforcement and space-conscious portable systems.

Purpose-Built for Flexible Sound Reinforcement

700 W Bi-Amplified Power

A dedicated Class-D amplifier delivers 500 W to the low-frequency section and 200 W to the high-frequency driver for efficient, articulate output up to 128 dB SPL.

Premium Plywood Enclosure

The rigid plywood cabinet suppresses unwanted resonance, while its durable polyurea coating helps withstand the demands of transport and professional installation.

Rotatable 90° × 60° Horn

Rotate the high-frequency horn to maintain the intended dispersion pattern whether the cabinet is installed vertically or horizontally.

FIR-X Tuning

Yamaha’s linear-phase FIR processing and corrective equalisation optimise the crossover region for smooth response and consistent clarity.

Application-Focused DSP

D-CONTOUR modes adapt the response for FOH/Main or monitor duties, while switchable 100 Hz and 120 Hz high-pass filters simplify subwoofer integration.

Practical Integrated Mixer

Two input channels accept microphones, line sources and stereo RCA equipment, with an XLR output selectable as a parallel through or mixed feed.

Designed for Installation—and Ready to Travel

Compact dimensions and a 15 kg cabinet make the DHR10 easy to position without compromising construction quality. A 35 mm pole socket supports conventional stand mounting, M10 rigging points accommodate approved eyebolts, and the optional Yamaha UB-DXRDHR10 U-bracket enables secure vertical or horizontal installation.

Ideal Applications

  • Fixed sound systems in cafés, houses of worship, studios, classrooms and multipurpose venues
  • Compact front-of-house systems for speech, acoustic music and presentations
  • Delay, side-fill and distributed loudspeaker positions
  • Portable PA systems where plywood construction and controlled coverage are priorities

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the DHR10 be mounted horizontally?

Yes. The cabinet supports vertical or horizontal installation, and the 90° × 60° high-frequency horn can be rotated so the coverage pattern remains correctly oriented.

Does it need an external amplifier?

No. The DHR10 is a powered loudspeaker with an integrated 700 W dynamic Class-D bi-amplifier.

Can I connect a microphone directly?

Yes. Channel 1 accepts microphone or line-level signals through its XLR/TRS combo input. For larger systems or multiple sources, an external mixer is recommended.

Can it be used with a subwoofer?

Yes. Its 100 Hz and 120 Hz high-pass filter options support straightforward integration with a powered subwoofer.

Is the installation bracket included?

No. The compatible Yamaha UB-DXRDHR10 U-bracket and approved M10 eyebolts are optional accessories sold separately.
