Yamaha STAGEPAS 200BTR Battery-Powered Portable PA System
The Yamaha STAGEPAS 200BTR is an all-in-one portable PA in a 300 mm cube cabinet, combining a 180 W bi-amped speaker, a 5-channel digital mixer and the BTR-STP200 lithium-ion battery. It plays from mains power or runs for up to 10 hours on battery, so you can perform where there is no power point.
It is ideal for solo and duo performers, buskers, small bands of up to three people, teachers, presenters, worship groups and event hosts. The 200BTR is the version supplied with the battery; the STAGEPAS 200 is the same PA without it.
Key Features
Coaxial 8-Inch Driver with 125 dB Output
A coaxial transducer places a 1-inch throat compression driver (1.4-inch voice coil) at the centre of an 8-inch woofer, acting as a near point source with natural high-frequency dispersion. Driven by a 180 W Class-D amplifier (150 W LF, 30 W HF), it reaches 125 dB SPL with 90° x 90° coverage.
5-Channel Digital Mixer on the STAGEPAS 200BTR
Three mono mic/line inputs and one stereo/mono line input handle vocals, guitars, keyboards and backing tracks. Channels 2 and 3 accept Hi-Z instruments such as acoustic guitars directly, and a MONITOR/LINK output feeds a monitor or a second speaker.
1-Knob EQ Presets, SPX Reverb and MODE
Every channel has a 1-knob EQ/preset, and channels 2-3 include microphone simulators for a more natural acoustic guitar sound. Yamaha's SPX reverb (4 programmes), delay and chorus add polish, while the master MODE compressor offers SPEECH, MUSIC and CLUB settings.
Priority Ducker and Feedback Suppressor
The Priority Ducker automatically lowers background music when the main microphone is used, which is ideal for announcements and teaching. An intelligent feedback suppressor works automatically to remove howling when a microphone picks up the speaker.
Up to 10 Hours on Battery
The included BTR-STP200 lithium-ion battery (79.92 Wh) gives up to 10 hours of operation, or about 8 hours continuous at 1/16 power, and charges in about 4 hours. The fanless design runs silently, so it suits quiet speech settings too.
Bluetooth and STAGEPAS Controller App
Stream backing tracks from a phone or tablet over Bluetooth 5.0, and use the STAGEPAS Controller app for iOS or Android to adjust levels, EQ, reverb, compressor, ducker and mic simulators remotely. Settings can be saved as scenes for quick recall.
Tilt Stand and Pole Mounting
A rubber stand lets you tilt the cabinet at 30° or 60°, so it can face the audience as a main speaker or point back at you as a floor monitor. A 35 mm pole socket allows stand mounting, and the optional CASE-STP200 trolley case makes transport easy.

The 200BTR offers more power (180 W vs 100 W), an 8-inch driver, a 5-channel digital mixer with effects, app control and up to 10 hours of battery life. The 100BTR is lighter at 5.5 kg with a simpler 3-channel mixer, ideal for solo performers and speech.
What is in the box?
Yamaha lists a power cord and the BTR-STP200 battery. The CASE-STP200 carry case is available as an option.
How is it powered?
It runs from 100-240 V mains with the supplied power cord, or from the included BTR-STP200 battery for up to 10 hours. The battery takes approximately 4 hours to charge.
Can I plug in an acoustic guitar directly?
Yes. Channels 2 and 3 are Hi-Z compatible, so passive acoustic or electric instruments can connect without a DI box, and the built-in mic simulators help acoustic pickups sound more natural.
How loud is it, and how many people can it cover?
It produces up to 125 dB SPL at 1 m. Yamaha positions it for performances with one to three performers, small events, parties and presentations.
