We handle personal data in line with Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the rules made under them.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, and any order notes you add.
- If you ask for a GST invoice: your GSTIN and the company name and address to appear on the invoice.
- When you create an account: your name, email address and password. We store your password in encrypted form and can never see it. Your account also keeps your saved addresses and order history.

Payment information
Online payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. Your card, UPI, net banking and EMI details are entered on Razorpay’s secure payment page and handled by Razorpay. They are never stored on our website. We receive only a confirmation of the payment, such as the payment reference, amount and method.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, as recorded in our server logs.
- Cookies: small files that keep your cart and your login working and help us understand how the website is used (see section 5).
2. How we use your data
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including payment, invoicing, shipping and tracking updates.
- To issue GST invoices and meet our tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
- To manage your account and show you your orders.

- To send you emails and messages about your orders and enquiries.
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud and misuse.
- To understand how the website is used, so that we can improve it, and to measure the results of our advertising.
- To send you news and offers, but only if you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal data only as needed for the purposes above, with:
- Razorpay, to process your payments and EMI options.
- Courier and logistics partners, who receive your name, phone number and delivery address so that they can deliver your order.
- Our service providers, who host and run our website and email (our servers are in India), and the software we use for invoicing, accounts and stock.
- Google, for website statistics (Google Analytics) and for measuring our Google advertising.
- Yamaha or the relevant manufacturer, when needed for warranty or after-sales service on a product you bought.
- Government authorities, courts or regulators, when the law requires it, and our professional advisers, such as auditors.
Our service providers may use your data only to provide their services to us. Some of them, such as Google, may process data outside India, with the safeguards required by law.
4. How long we keep it
- Orders and invoices: for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require.
- Your account: until you ask us to close it. Order records are still kept for the period above.
- Enquiries and messages: for as long as we need them to help you and follow up. They are deleted when you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep them.
5. Cookies and website statistics
- Essential cookies keep your cart, checkout and login working. The website cannot work properly without them.
- Statistics and advertising cookies from Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) help us see how visitors use the website and measure our ads. They do not tell us who you are.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, the cart and checkout may not work.
Product videos come from YouTube and load only when you press play. YouTube’s own privacy policy then applies.
6. How we protect it
The website uses HTTPS encryption. Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it to serve you. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your data. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update your data, or complete it if it is incomplete;
- delete your data, except where the law requires us to keep it, for example invoices;
- stop sending you marketing messages, or withdraw any consent you have given (this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it);
- let another person exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or are unable to.
You can update your details yourself under My Account, or write to us at the email address below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
8. Children
Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you think a child has given us their personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
