Yamaha FIR-X tuning uses linear-phase FIR filtering at the 2.1 kHz crossover to align the low- and high-frequency sections. This helps produce smooth response through the crossover region and consistent 90° horizontal by 60° vertical coverage.

D-CONTOUR adapts the speaker for main or monitor use

Select FOH/MAIN for front-of-house reinforcement, MONITOR for wedge operation or OFF for a more neutral response. Dynamic processing adjusts the tonal balance according to output level, helping the DBR15 remain balanced at both moderate and high volume.

Built-in 2-channel mixer with flexible input and output routing

Channel 1 accepts microphone- or line-level signals through an XLR/TRS combo input. Channel 2 provides a second combo input plus unbalanced RCA connectors for a stereo playback source. The XLR output can send either Channel 1 as a parallel through signal or the combined Channel 1+2 mix.
