Yamaha STAGEPAS 100BTR Battery-Powered Portable PA System
The Yamaha STAGEPAS 100BTR is a compact battery-powered PA system that weighs just 5.5 kg. It combines a 100 W bi-amped Class-D amplifier, a 6.5-inch coaxial driver, a simple 3-channel mixer and an internal lithium-ion battery good for up to 6 hours.
It is designed for solo singers and guitarists, buskers, teachers, tour guides, fitness instructors and presenters who want to set up in seconds anywhere. Just switch on, plug in a mic and instrument, stream backing tracks over Bluetooth and perform.
Key Features
Coaxial Driver with FIR-X Crossover
A 1-inch throat compression driver with a 1.4-inch voice coil sits at the centre of a 6.5-inch woofer, working as a near point source. Yamaha's FIR-X filters handle the 1.8 kHz crossover for accurate phase and natural dispersion over a 90° x 90° area, up to 120 dB SPL.
3-Channel Mixer on the STAGEPAS 100BTR
Inputs 1 and 2 are combo jacks for microphones or line sources, with Hi-Z support on channel 2 for guitars, and input 3 is a stereo mini jack for a phone or player. A 2-band master EQ on the front panel lets you shape the sound quickly, and an XLR output sends the mix to another speaker or recorder.
Up to 6 Hours on Battery
The built-in 60 Wh lithium-ion battery runs for up to 6 hours, or about 5 hours continuously at 1/16 power, and recharges in about 2.5 hours. You can also run it from mains power with the supplied PA-500 AC adaptor.
Bluetooth Audio Playback
Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC and SBC support lets you stream backing tracks or background music wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet, so you need fewer cables on stage.
Handle That Doubles as a Stand
The rotatable carrying handle works as a stand when the PA sits on the floor, and its angle can be adjusted to aim the sound at the audience or back at you as a monitor.
Mic-Stand Mounting and Silent Operation
A 3/8-inch threaded hole in the centre of the handle lets you mount the STAGEPAS 100BTR on a microphone stand for better coverage. Natural convection cooling means there is no fan noise during quiet speech or acoustic sets.

STAGEPAS 100BTR or STAGEPAS 200BTR: which should I choose?
The 100BTR is lighter (5.5 kg) and simpler, with 100 W and a 3-channel mixer, ideal for one performer or a speaker. The 200BTR adds 180 W, an 8-inch driver, a 5-channel digital mixer with SPX reverb and app control, and up to 10 hours of battery life.
What is in the box?
Yamaha lists a power cord and the PA-500 AC adaptor; the lithium-ion battery is built in. The BAG-STP100 carrying bag is optional.
Does it have built-in reverb?
No. The STAGEPAS 100BTR focuses on simple operation with a 2-band master EQ. If you want reverb and more channels, choose the STAGEPAS 200BTR.
Can I connect a guitar directly?
Yes. Channel 2 supports Hi-Z input, so you can plug in an acoustic-electric or electric guitar without a DI box.
Can I mount it on a stand?
Yes. The handle has a 3/8-inch threaded hole that fits a standard microphone stand, or you can stand it on the floor using the handle as an angled stand.
