The Yamaha DBR10 delivers professional powered-speaker performance from the smallest and lightest cabinet in the DBR Series. Its bi-amplified Class-D power section provides 700 W dynamic output, driving a 10-inch woofer and precision compression driver to produce up to 129 dB SPL.

At only 10.5 kg, DBR10 is easy to deploy as a front-of-house loudspeaker, compact floor monitor, keyboard or electronic-drum amplifier, DJ speaker, presentation system or installation cabinet. Yamaha FIR-X tuning, D-CONTOUR processing and protection DSP keep the sound clear and controlled across different operating levels.

700 W bi-amplified Class-D power in a compact enclosure

Separate amplifier sections provide 500 W dynamic power for the low-frequency driver and 200 W for the high-frequency section. This efficient bi-amped design supplies strong transient response and useful headroom while keeping cabinet weight and power consumption manageable.

Custom 10-inch woofer with precision compression driver

The 10-inch low-frequency cone uses a 2-inch voice coil for controlled bass and midrange output. A 1-inch compression driver handles the high-frequency range, producing clear vocal presence and detailed reproduction across a specified 55 Hz–20 kHz frequency range.

FIR-X tuning for accurate phase and consistent coverage

Yamaha FIR-X tuning uses linear-phase FIR filtering around the crossover to align the low- and high-frequency sections. The result is smoother response through the crossover region and consistent 90° horizontal by 60° vertical coverage.

D-CONTOUR adapts the speaker for main or monitor use

Select FOH/MAIN for front-of-house reinforcement, MONITOR for floor-wedge operation or OFF for a more neutral response. Dynamic processing adjusts the tonal balance according to output level, helping the cabinet remain clear at both moderate and high volume.

Built-in 2-channel mixer with flexible input and output routing

Channel 1 accepts microphone- or line-level signals through an XLR/TRS combo input. Channel 2 provides a second combo input plus unbalanced RCA connectors for a stereo playback source. The XLR output can send either Channel 1 as a parallel through signal or the combined Channel 1+2 mix.

Portable, pole-mountable and ready for floor monitoring

The durable plastic enclosure weighs 10.5 kg and includes a top carry handle, 35 mm pole socket and a 50° monitor angle. Two M8 rigging points support compatible installation hardware, making DBR10 useful for mobile systems and selected fixed applications.

Q. Can a microphone be connected directly?

Yes. Channel 1 accepts microphone- or line-level input through an XLR/TRS combo connector. The DBR10 does not provide phantom power, so condenser microphones that require it need a suitable mixer or external supply.

Q. Can I connect another powered speaker?

Yes. The XLR output can pass Channel 1 directly or send a mix of Channels 1 and 2 to another powered speaker, mixer or compatible audio device.

Q. Does the DBR10 include Bluetooth?

No. Playback devices connect through the combo or RCA inputs. A separate Bluetooth receiver or mixer can be added when wireless playback is required.

Q. Can it be permanently installed?

The cabinet includes two M8 rigging points and is compatible with selected Yamaha speaker brackets. Rigged installation should be planned and completed by a suitably qualified professional using approved hardware.
