Product details
More Power. More Inputs. One Complete Portable PA.
The Yamaha STAGEPAS 600BT combines a detachable 10-channel powered mixer, two custom-designed 10-inch loudspeakers and Bluetooth audio in one high-output portable PA. With 680 watts of dynamic output, it provides the headroom and input capacity needed for bands, DJs, worship teams, corporate events, schools and medium-sized live applications.
The mixer stores securely inside either speaker for transport, allowing the complete system to travel as a compact package. SPX digital reverb, 1-Knob Master EQ, 3-band channel EQ, automatic feedback suppression and Yamaha’s intelligent DSP help deliver a clear, controlled mix without relying on a rack of external processing.
Key Features
A high-output PA that packs into its own speakers
The system includes two passive loudspeakers, a detachable powered mixer, two 6 m speaker cables and the required power cord. The mixer fits into the rear compartment of either speaker, making the complete 25.6 kg system easier to transport, assemble and store between events.
680 watts with 10-inch speakers for greater scale and headroom
The Class-D amplifier supplies 340 W to each loudspeaker. Custom two-way bass-reflex cabinets pair a 10-inch low-frequency driver with a 1.4-inch voice-coil compression driver, producing a 55 Hz–20 kHz frequency range and up to 129 dB SPL per speaker.
Flexible 10-channel mixer for larger performance setups
Four mono mic/line channels accommodate microphones and instruments, while channels 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10 can operate as stereo pairs or independent mono inputs. Channel 4 includes a Hi-Z switch for connecting a passive guitar or bass directly, and +30 V phantom power is available on channels 1 and 2 for compatible condenser microphones.
Bluetooth playback without an extra cable
Stream backing tracks, interval music, presentation audio or event playlists from a compatible phone or tablet. Bluetooth 4.1 with A2DP provides a specified range of approximately 10 metres under suitable operating conditions.
Detailed control with SPX effects and 3-band channel EQ
Four high-resolution SPX reverb programs add controlled ambience to vocals and acoustic instruments. Each channel provides 3-band EQ for more precise tonal shaping, while the 1-Knob Master EQ quickly adapts the complete system for speech, music or stronger low-frequency impact. The onboard feedback suppressor reduces problem frequencies at the press of a button.
Ready to expand for monitoring or additional low end
Dedicated Monitor outputs can feed powered stage monitors or another sound system. Connecting a powered subwoofer to the mono Subwoofer output automatically applies a high-pass filter to the STAGEPAS speakers. StageLok pole sockets support standard 34.8–35.2 mm speaker poles, and an optional Yamaha FC5 can provide hands-free reverb switching.
FAQ
Q. Who is the STAGEPAS 600BT best suited to?
It is designed for bands, DJs, worship teams, schools, corporate presenters and event users who need more output, larger speakers and additional mixer channels while retaining the convenience of a portable all-in-one PA.
Q. What is included with the system?
Yamaha specifies two speakers, the detachable powered mixer, a mixer cover panel, a 2 m power cord, two 6 m speaker cables, non-skid pads, ferrite cores and cable ties. Speaker stands and optional accessories are sold separately.
Q. Can I connect a guitar directly?
Yes. Channel 4 has a Hi-Z switch for direct connection of a passive guitar or bass. Other instruments, microphones and line-level sources can be connected through the remaining mixer inputs as appropriate.
Q. Can it power condenser microphones?
The mixer provides +30 V phantom power on channels 1 and 2 for compatible condenser microphones. Check the microphone’s power requirements before connection.
Q. Can I add stage monitors or a subwoofer?
Yes. Stereo Monitor outputs support external powered monitors or an additional PA feed, and the mono Subwoofer output can connect a powered subwoofer. The system automatically engages a high-pass filter when the subwoofer output is used.
Q. How does it differ from the STAGEPAS 400BT?
The 600BT increases output to 680 W, uses two 10-inch speakers, provides a 10-channel mixer and adds 3-band channel EQ. The 400BT is smaller and lighter, with 400 W output, 8-inch speakers and an 8-channel mixer.
