Yamaha STAGEPAS 600BT 680 W Portable PA System
The Yamaha STAGEPAS 600BT is an all-in-one portable PA with a detachable 10-channel powered mixer and two passive two-way speakers, each built around a 10-inch woofer and a 1.4-inch compression driver. Its amplifier is rated at 680 W dynamic (340 W per side), and Bluetooth streaming, SPX reverb and a feedback suppressor are built in.
It is aimed at bands, worship teams, schools, corporate events and anyone who needs more volume and more inputs than the STAGEPAS 400BT offers, while keeping the convenience of a system that packs into its own speakers. The complete system weighs 25.6 kg.
Key Features
All-in-one portable PA system in a carry-ready package
Two speakers, the detachable mixer, two 6 m speaker cables and the power cord combine into one compact package. The mixer docks in the back of a speaker cabinet for transport and lifts out for the show, so setting up takes very little time.
680 W output with 10-inch two-way speakers
The powered mixer delivers 680 W dynamic (340 W + 340 W) or 560 W continuous (280 W + 280 W) into 4 ohms. Each bass-reflex speaker combines a 10-inch cone woofer with a 1.4-inch voice-coil compression driver for up to 129 dB SPL per speaker, a 55 Hz to 20 kHz range and 90° x 60° coverage, giving more headroom for bigger rooms and audiences.
10-channel mixer for larger line-ups
Four mono mic/line channels take vocals and instruments, and channels 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10 work as stereo pairs or as independent mono inputs. Channel 4 has a Hi-Z switch for passive-pickup guitars and basses, and +30 V phantom power on channels 1 and 2 runs condenser microphones.
3-band channel EQ with mid-range control
Every channel has high shelving EQ at 8 kHz, a mid peaking band at 2.5 kHz and low shelving at 100 Hz. The extra mid control, which the 400BT doesn't have, is particularly useful for vocals and guitars.
Bluetooth audio streaming
Stream backing tracks, interval music or presentation audio wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet. The Bluetooth 4.1 (A2DP) input has a maximum range of approximately 10 m.
SPX reverb, 1-Knob Master EQ and feedback suppressor
One knob selects from four high-resolution SPX reverb types and sets their time, and each channel sends as much reverb as it needs. The 1-Knob Master EQ, with virtual bass boost, adapts the overall sound for speech, music or extra low end, and the onboard feedback suppressor removes feedback at the push of a button.
Expand the STAGEPAS 600BT PA system
Monitor outputs (L/Mono, R) can drive powered monitors or extra speakers such as Yamaha's DBR, DXR or DSR models. Plugging a powered subwoofer, such as a Yamaha DXS Series model, into the mono Subwoofer output automatically applies a high-pass filter to the main speakers. An optional FC5 footswitch turns the reverb on and off hands-free.

Choose the 600BT if you need more volume or more inputs: 680 W dynamic versus 400 W, 10-inch woofers versus 8-inch, 10 mixer channels versus 8, 3-band channel EQ versus 2-band, and up to 129 dB SPL per speaker versus 125 dB. The 400BT is lighter (18.3 kg against 25.6 kg) and is enough for solo acts, speech and small rooms.

Can I plug a guitar or a condenser microphone straight in?
Yes. Channel 4 has a Hi-Z switch for passive-pickup guitars and basses, and channels 1 and 2 provide +30 V phantom power for condenser microphones.
How does it compare with the STAGEPAS 1K mkII?
The 600BT uses two separate box speakers with a 10-channel detachable mixer, so you can place the speakers either side of the stage. The 1K mkII is a single column system with a 12-inch powered subwoofer, a 10-driver line array, a 5-channel digital mixer, 1100 W dynamic power and 170° horizontal coverage, plus app control.
