A True Clavinova Experience in a Gracefully Compact Cabinet.
The Yamaha Clavinova CLP-825 brings the sound and expressive response of two celebrated concert grands—the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial—into a slim, elegant console designed for home practice and musical growth.
Its 88-note GrandTouch-S keyboard, GrandTouch pedals, Virtual Resonance Modeling and 256-note polyphony give developing pianists a natural foundation, while Bluetooth audio, USB connectivity, Duo mode and Yamaha’s Smart Pianist ecosystem add useful digital convenience.
Why Pianists Choose the CLP-825
GrandTouch-S keyboard with escapement
The GrandTouch-S action, with synthetic ebony and ivory keytops and escapement, gives a grand-like feel and response, and four touch settings, Hard, Medium, Soft and Fixed, let you match it to your playing.

Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial
The main piano Voices are sampled from two of the world’s great concert grands: the brilliant Yamaha CFX and the warm, rich Bösendorfer Imperial. 10 carefully chosen Voices and 256-note polyphony keep the focus on pure piano playing.
Grand Expression Modeling and VRM
Grand Expression Modeling senses the depth, speed and strength of every keystroke and shapes the tone the way an acoustic grand responds, while Virtual Resonance Modeling recreates string, damper, duplex scaling and body resonance in real time.

12 cm speakers with diffusers
Two 12 cm speakers with diffusers, driven by 20 W × 2 amplification, give a clear, natural piano sound in a compact cabinet, and Intelligent Acoustic Control keeps the tone balanced when you play quietly.

GrandTouch pedals
Damper with half-pedal, sostenuto and soft pedals respond like a grand’s, with resistance that eases on the return.
Binaural headphone sound
The CFX is sampled binaurally for natural sound on headphones, with two headphone jacks and Stereophonic Optimizer for the other Voices.
Practice and recording
303 lesson songs and 50 classics, a 2-track recorder to review your playing, and Duo mode for side-by-side lessons.
Bluetooth and Smart Pianist
Stream music through the piano’s speakers over Bluetooth, where available, control the piano from a phone or tablet with Smart Pianist, and connect to a computer by USB audio.

It suits learners, families and returning pianists who want authentic Clavinova touch and concert-grand tone in the most compact upright-style CLP-800 cabinet.
