Are the L-300 stand and LP-1 pedal unit included with the DGX-670?
No. The L-300 keyboard stand and LP-1 three-pedal unit are optional accessories, available separately. The DGX-670 comes with an FC5 footswitch for sustain.
How is the DGX-670 different from the P-225?
The DGX-670 uses the GHS keyboard and adds an arranger section with 601 Voices, 263 Styles, a colour display, microphone input and 16-track recording. The P-225 is slimmer and lighter (11.5 kg vs 21.4 kg) with the GHC keyboard, 24 Voices and 20 rhythms, focused on core piano playing.
How does the DGX-670 compare with the P-S500?
Both have the 88-note GHS keyboard, CFX sound with VRM and 256-note polyphony. The DGX-670 has its own colour display and full on-panel arranger control, while the P-S500 adds Stream Lights and a Bösendorfer Imperial Voice and relies on the Smart Pianist app for its full 660 Voices and 370 Styles.
Can I sing through the DGX-670?
Yes. It has a standard microphone input, can show lyrics on the display, and its Vocal Cancel function can reduce vocals in audio files for sing-along practice.
What power supply does the DGX-670 need?
The DGX-670 runs on Yamaha's PA-300C AC adaptor (DC IN 16 V) and consumes 14.5 W. The PA-300C is a required accessory, purchased together with the piano.
Can it record and connect to a computer?
Yes. It records 16-track MIDI and stereo WAV audio to a USB flash drive, and USB TO HOST works as a 44.1 kHz, 16-bit audio and MIDI interface with a computer.
