Yamaha Arius YDP-105 Digital Piano

A Full 88-Key Weighted Console Piano for Learning at Home

The Yamaha Arius YDP-105 is an 88-key console digital piano designed for learning and everyday practice at home. Its GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) keyboard with matte black keytops reproduces the touch of an acoustic piano, with a naturally heavier feel in the lower keys and a lighter touch in the upper octaves.

AWM stereo-sampled piano sound, Damper Resonance and three pedals give students a proper foundation for technique and pedalling, while Duo mode, a metronome, two headphone jacks and Smart Pianist compatibility support lessons and quiet practice. This listing is for the Rosewood finish.

88-note GHS weighted keyboard

The Graded Hammer Standard keyboard with matte black keytops reproduces the touch of an acoustic piano, with a naturally heavier feel in the lower keys and a lighter touch in the upper octaves. Hard, Medium, Soft and Fixed touch settings adjust the response.

AWM stereo-sampled piano sound

The piano Voice uses Yamaha’s AWM stereo sampling of a Yamaha grand piano for a balanced sound across the range. Ten Voices, Dual mode for layering two sounds and four reverb types add variety, with 64-note maximum polyphony.

Three pedals with half-damper control

Damper, sostenuto and soft pedals are provided, and the damper supports a half-pedal function like a grand piano. Damper Resonance mirrors the tonal changes heard when a grand piano’s damper pedal is pressed.

Duo mode and two headphone jacks

Duo divides the keyboard so two players can play the same piano sound and octave range side by side – ideal for teacher-and-student lessons. Two headphone jacks let two people practise quietly together.

Smart Pianist compatibility and USB TO HOST

The YDP-105 is compatible with Yamaha’s free Smart Pianist app, which makes Voice functions easy to operate and scores simple to call up. USB TO HOST connects it to a computer or smart device.

Built-in speakers in a compact console

6 W × 2 amplification drives two 12 cm speakers. The cabinet measures 1,357 × 815 × 422 mm with a sliding key cover and music rest, and weighs 37.5 kg.
