The Yamaha PSR-I510 is the mid-level model in Yamaha's India-focused PSR-I series: a 61-key touch-response portable keyboard with 887 Voices, 382 Styles, 40 Riyaz patterns and 65 Songs, including a wide range of Indian instruments, rhythms, Ragas and Geetams. A mic input, line outputs, Quick Sampling and USB recording make it as useful on stage as it is for practice.

The PSR-I510 offers 887 Voices, including 40 Indian instrument Voices alongside piano, guitar, drums and much more. Twenty Super Articulation Lite Voices recreate playing techniques such as Bansuri vibrato and Santoor tremolo, and the PIANO button switches between Harmonium and Piano at a single touch.
382 Styles, Smart Chord and Auto Chord Play
Play with a full backing band from 382 auto-accompaniment Styles, 60 of them Indian. Smart Chord lets you trigger chords with one finger, and Auto Chord Play runs 135 preset chord progressions or up to 10 of your own, so even beginners can enjoy a complete-sounding performance.
40 Riyaz Patterns for Indian Music Practice
The Riyaz function provides 40 Tabla/Mridangam and Tanpura patterns covering basic Taal and Solkattu. Use them to practise ragas and rhythm every day or as an accompaniment when you perform.
65 Songs with Step-by-Step Lessons
The 65 built-in Songs include 25 traditional Ragas and Geetams as well as Western classical pieces. The three-stage Song Lesson (Listening, Timing and Waiting) and Repeat & Learn help you master each piece, and Yamaha offers a free downloadable Song Book with the sheet music.
Dual, Split and Arpeggio
Layer two Voices with Dual, divide the keyboard so each hand plays a different Voice with Split, or let one of 179 Arpeggio types turn the notes you hold into arpeggios and drum patterns. The 61 touch-response keys offer Soft, Medium, Hard and Off settings.
DSP, Live Control Knobs and India EQ
Dedicated DSP buttons call up 41 DSP1 and 12 DSP2 effect types, Motion Effect adds 57 types of filter and modulation movement, and two Live Control knobs adjust assigned effects as you play. India EQ is tuned for Indian music, and Mega Boost raises the volume by 6 dB above the normal maximum.
Quick Sampling and Looper on the PSR-I510
Record your own voice or load sounds onto four Quick Sampling pads, about 9.6 seconds each, and trigger them as one-shot effects or loops. Samples can come from the microphone input, AUX IN, the USB audio interface or WAV files, and the Looper lets you build up and overdub phrases.
Mic Input, L/R Outputs and USB
Plug a microphone into the mic input to sing through the built-in 6 W + 6 W speakers, or connect a larger sound system through the L/L+R and R outputs. USB TO DEVICE records WAV audio to a flash drive (up to 80 minutes per Song), and the USB Type-C TO HOST port works as a 44.1 kHz, 16-bit audio and MIDI interface with a computer.

What comes in the box with the PSR-I510?
The PSR-I510 comes with its AC adaptor and a music rest. The Song Book with sheet music for the built-in Songs is a free download from Yamaha's website.
Can the PSR-I510 run on batteries?
Yes. As well as the AC adaptor, it can run on six AA alkaline, manganese or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, which is handy for lessons, rehearsals or playing away from a power socket. An auto power-off function helps save power.
