Key Features
15-Watt GA15II Practice Amp
The GA15II delivers a rated 15 W through a single 16 cm full-range speaker. Yamaha pitches it as the ideal first practice amplifier, giving beginners a simple, dependable way to hear their electric guitar at home or in lessons.
Clean and Drive Channels
A CLEAN/DRIVE push switch selects between a clean channel with minimal distortion and a Drive channel for overdriven sounds. The Drive channel has its own GAIN and VOLUME knobs and the Clean channel its own VOLUME, so you can balance the levels of both sounds.
Adjustable Drive Gain
Turning the GAIN control clockwise adds more distortion on the Drive channel. Lower settings give a light crunch for blues and classic rock, while higher settings deliver a heavier overdriven tone for rock riffs.
Three-Band EQ
Separate TREBLE, MIDDLE and BASS controls adjust the high, mid and low frequencies. They make it easy to brighten a dull tone, add warmth or shape the sound to suit your guitar and the music you are learning.
AUX IN for Play-Along Practice
The AUX IN mini jack accepts an external audio source such as an MP3 or CD player, so you can play along with songs and backing tracks through the amp. It turns everyday practice into something closer to playing with a band.
Headphone Output for Quiet Practice
Plug headphones into the PHONES mini jack and the speaker is silenced, so you can practise late at night or in shared spaces without disturbing anyone.
Compact, Easy-to-Place Cabinet
Measuring 291 mm wide, 189 mm high and 300 mm deep and weighing 5 kg, the GA15II fits easily into a bedroom, study or classroom without taking over the space.
