Yamaha DZR10 10-Inch Powered PA Speaker
The Yamaha DZR10 is a 10-inch 2-way bi-amped powered loudspeaker from Yamaha's flagship DZR series. It combines 2000 W of Class-D power, a maximum output of 137 dB SPL and 96 kHz DSP with Advanced FIR-X tuning in a rugged plywood cabinet.
It suits rental companies, bands, churches, auditoriums and installers who want premium sound and deep DSP control in a cabinet small enough for speech reinforcement, fills and stage monitoring. The DZR10's asymmetric shape makes it a capable single-wedge monitor.

2000 W Class-D Power and Best-in-Class SPL
A high-efficiency Class-D module rated at 2000 W dynamic (1000 W LF, 1000 W HF) drives the DZR10 to 137 dB SPL. The amplifiers are matched to the drivers, so you get headroom for loud music without harshness.
Custom Neodymium Transducers
The 10-inch woofer uses a large 3-inch voice coil, a cast aluminium frame and a lightweight neodymium magnet for tight, powerful bass. The 1-inch throat compression driver has a 2-inch voice coil and titanium diaphragm for clear vocals and highs, covering 44 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB).
96 kHz DSP with Advanced FIR-X Tuning
Yamaha's Advanced FIR-X tuning combines linear-phase FIR crossover filters with corrective EQ at 96 kHz. The result is smooth response, clear imaging and very low latency, with the crossover set at 1.8 kHz.
LCD Control and Presets on the DZR10
A rear-panel LCD lets you choose presets and fine-tune PEQ, delay and routing without a computer. Store up to eight user presets, use dedicated presets for pairing with DXS XLF subwoofers, and save or load settings on a USB flash drive; a panel lock keeps settings safe.
D-CONTOUR and DSP Protection
D-CONTOUR is a multi-band processor with FOH/MAIN and MONITOR modes: FOH/MAIN adds low end for stand-mounted or flown speakers, while MONITOR tames floor-reflected bass. DSP protection constantly monitors the power supply, amplifiers, drivers and signal levels to extend component life.
Rotatable Horn and Durable Plywood Cabinet
The horn rotates for vertical or horizontal mounting, with 90° H x 60° V coverage when upright. The 15 mm plywood cabinet has a military-grade polyurea coating, butterfly joints and a flared port, plus M10 rigging points and dual 35 mm pole sockets (0° or -7°).
Floor Monitor Ready
Its 50° wedge angle lets it work as a floor monitor; note the DZR10 cabinet is asymmetric, so mirror-mode pairs are not possible. Optional UB-DZR10H/V U-brackets and a padded SPCVR speaker cover are available from Yamaha.

DZR10 or DZR12: which should I choose?
Both have 2000 W of power. The DZR12 reaches lower (39 Hz vs 44 Hz) and louder (139 vs 137 dB SPL), while the DZR10 is smaller and lighter at 17.9 kg, ideal for fills, monitors and speech.
How is the DZR series different from the DBR series?
The DZR series has twice the amplifier power (2000 W vs up to 1000 W), 96 kHz DSP with an LCD for presets, PEQ and delay, neodymium drivers and a plywood cabinet with M10 rigging. The DBR series is lighter and has a built-in 2-channel mixer.
Can I plug a microphone straight into the DZR?
No. The two combo inputs are line level (maximum +24 dBu), so connect microphones through a mixer such as an MG or DM3 console, then feed the speaker.
Does this model support Dante?
No. This is the analog-input DZR10. Yamaha makes a separate DZR10-D version with Dante networking (2 in / 2 out).
What subwoofer pairs well with it?
Yamaha's DXS XLF subwoofers, such as the DXS15XLF, are designed to work with the DZR series and have dedicated pairing presets in the DZR's DSP.
