The Yamaha CS40 is a 3/4-size nylon-string classical guitar, and the only model in Yamaha's CS series. It has a 580 mm scale and a compact body 450 mm long and 84-88 mm deep, so it is noticeably smaller than a full-size classical guitar such as the C40.

580 mm Scale for Shorter Reaches
