Yamaha PSR-SX620 61-Key Arranger Workstation
The Yamaha PSR-SX620 is the new entry point to Yamaha's PSR-SX series of arranger workstations. It combines 1,002 Voices and 450 accompaniment Styles with a joystick, two Live Control knobs, Chord Looper and a completely redesigned panel on a 61-key touch-sensitive keyboard.
It is made for intermediate players, aspiring performers and home musicians who want professional-sounding accompaniment without a steep learning curve. At 8.1 kg, with a built-in speaker system, Bluetooth audio and USB recording, it is easy to move from practice room to stage.

1,002 Voices and 450 Styles
The PSR-SX620 packs 1,002 Voices, 51 Drum/SFX Kits and 480 XG Voices, generated by AWM Stereo Sampling with 128-note polyphony. Its 450 accompaniment Styles include 416 Pro Styles, 33 Session Styles and a Free Play Style, each with four One Touch Settings that call up matching Voices instantly.
137 Super Articulation Voices
Super Articulation (S.Art!) Voices reproduce the small playing details that make real instruments sound convincing, such as the way a guitarist or wind player shapes a note. Together with 34 MegaVoices and Yamaha's Sweet!, Cool! and Live! Voices, they make melodies and solos sound natural without extra effort.
Joystick and Two Live Control Knobs
A joystick gives you pitch bend and modulation under one hand, while two assignable Live Control knobs adjust brightness, tone, effects and Style parameters in real time. It is an easy way to add movement and expression to a performance.
Chord Looper on the Arranger Workstation Panel
Dedicated panel buttons let you record a chord progression as you play and have the Style loop it, so your left hand is free for full piano parts, solos or sound changes. Each bank stores up to eight chord sequences, you can create as many banks as you need, and built-in presets are included.
Redesigned Panel and 4.3-inch Colour Display
Yamaha has completely redesigned the PSR-SX620 panel so the controls you use most sit within easy reach. A 4.3-inch colour display (480 × 272 dots) shows Voices, Styles and settings clearly, and eight Registration Memory buttons with Playlist (up to 500 records per file) keep your song setups organised.
New Speaker System and Punchy Line Out
A newly developed 15 W + 15 W system with two 12 cm speakers uses an Internal BassPort, an enlarged internal sound chamber and a front-facing bass reflex design for fuller, tighter bass from a compact cabinet. Upgraded output circuitry sends a clearer, stronger signal from the MAIN OUTPUT jacks to external speakers or a PA.
Multi Pads with Audio Link
Four Multi Pads trigger rhythmic phrases, melodic patterns and loops from 226 preset banks. With Audio Link you can assign your own WAV files to the pads and launch custom sounds and samples during a performance.
Bluetooth Audio, Recording and Expansion
Stream music wirelessly from your phone over Bluetooth audio and play along, then capture the whole performance as a stereo WAV file on a USB flash drive, up to 80 minutes per recording. You can also record 16-track MIDI Songs, and add new Voices and Styles with Expansion Packs, managed with Yamaha's EXPANSION EXPLORER app for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac.

The PSR-SX620 keeps the core PSR-SX workflow, including Chord Looper, Multi Pads and Bluetooth audio, in a lighter and simpler instrument.
What comes in the box?
The PSR-SX620 comes with an AC adaptor, a music rest, the Owner's Manual and the Online Member Product Registration sheet. Accessories such as the L-7B keyboard stand, a sustain pedal and headphones are sold separately.
Can I connect a microphone?
Yes. The PSR-SX620 has a microphone input with Noise Gate, Compressor and 3-band EQ processing, so you can sing along with Styles and Songs. Vocal Harmony is not included on this model; it is available on the PSR-SX920.
Can I connect the PSR-SX620 to a computer, speakers or my phone?
Yes. It has USB TO HOST for a computer, USB TO DEVICE for a USB flash drive, MAIN OUTPUT (L/L+R, R) jacks for an amplifier or PA, a stereo mini AUX IN, a standard headphone jack and Bluetooth audio for streaming music from a smartphone.
