Watch & Hear It
Two Microphones, Two Headphone Feeds, One USB Cable
The AG06MK2 is the AG03MK2 with room for a second person. Two combo inputs, both with +48V phantom power, mean two condenser microphones on the desk — and two independent headphone outputs mean your guest hears the mix without sharing your cans.
Everything else carries over: the one-touch COMP/EQ, SPX reverb and amp simulation run in the hardware at zero latency, LOOPBACK folds your computer's audio into the stream, and the whole thing runs off a single USB-C cable at 24-bit/192 kHz.

What You Get
- Two combo mic/line inputs, both with +48V phantom power. Two condensers, two dynamics, or one of each — this is the smallest AG that handles a two-person podcast properly.
- CH1 also takes a headset mic on 3.5 mm with plug-in power, if you would rather wear a gaming headset than sit behind a boom.
- CH2 switches to Hi-Z for a guitar straight in, with AMP SIM in the DSP — no amplifier or DI box needed.
- Stereo line inputs on both TRS jack and RCA, so a keyboard, a deck or a media player connects without adapters.
- Two headphone outputs plus a monitor output for powered speakers.
- One-touch COMP/EQ and SPX REVERB in the hardware — zero latency, no CPU load, printed to the stream as well as your monitors.
- LOOPBACK and MIX MINUS MIC for streaming and for remote guests who should not hear themselves.
- USB-C, bus powered. 2-in / 2-out, USB Audio Class 2.0, 5 V / 900 mA. 152 × 63 × 201 mm, 0.9 kg. Cubase AI and WaveLab Cast licences included.
Reading the AG Model Names
Yamaha's AG names are straightforward once you know the pattern:
- The number is the channel count — 03, 06, 08.
- MK2 is the second generation, with a USB Type-C connection.
- LSPK means Live Streaming Pack — the mixer bundled with a microphone, headphones and cable.
- AG01 is the exception: a condenser microphone with the AG mixer built into its body.
So this one, the AG06MK2, is the six-channel second-generation mixer — the two-microphone desk of the range.

FAQ
Q. Is the AG06MK2 worth it over the AG03MK2?
If a second person will ever sit down with you, yes — you get a second phantom-powered mic input and a second headphone output. If you always record alone, the AG03MK2 has the same preamps, the same effects and the same loopback for less money.
Q. Can I record the two microphones as separate tracks?
No. The USB interface is 2-in / 2-out, so both mics arrive at your computer as one stereo mix. If you need each voice on its own track to edit later, the AG08 sends 8 channels in over USB.
Q. Do I still need a separate audio interface?
No. The AG06MK2 is a class-compliant USB-C interface at 24-bit/192 kHz and shows up as a recording device in OBS, your DAW or any streaming app.
Q. Will it work with a phone or an iPad?
Yes. There is a 4-pole mini jack for a smartphone, and an iPad connects through Apple's USB-C or Lightning camera adapter.
Q. Which microphones should I pair with it?
Two Yamaha YCM01 condensers is the tidy answer — same voicing on both sides of the table, and both run happily on the AG06MK2's phantom power. Talk to us about boom arms and cables at the same time.
