Four D-PRE Inputs, Two Headphone Outputs and Onboard DSP for Bigger Sessions

The Yamaha URX44C is a 6-in/4-out USB-C audio and MIDI interface with 32-bit/192 kHz support. Four combo inputs on Yamaha D-PRE mic preamps, plus two TRS line inputs, give a small band, a podcast table or a project studio room to grow.

Onboard DSP controlled through Yamaha’s dspMixFx software adds REV-X reverb, channel strip processing and amp simulation, while four TRS outputs and two headphone outputs make separate monitor feeds straightforward.

Four combo inputs on D-PRE preamps

Two combo inputs accept a microphone or a Hi-Z instrument, and two accept a microphone or line source. +48V phantom power supports condenser microphones, with a 54 dB gain range.

Six inputs and four outputs

Two additional TRS line inputs take keyboards or other line sources. Four TRS outputs can feed main speakers plus a second pair of monitors or external processing.

Two powerful headphone outputs

Two TRS headphone outputs rated at 100 mW + 100 mW into 40 ohms let a performer and an engineer, or two podcast hosts, monitor at the same time.

DSP effects through dspMixFx

The built-in DSP provides Gate, Compressor, Sweet Spot Morphing Channel Strip, Guitar Amp Classics, Pitch Fix, Ducker, Multi-Band Compressor, Compander, Delay and REV-X reverb, with loopback for streaming.

MIDI I/O and supplied AC adaptor

MIDI IN and OUT ports connect hardware instruments. Yamaha supplies an AC adaptor (DC 12 V, 1.5 A) with the interface, which measures 252 × 47 × 159 mm and weighs 1.5 kg.

Cubase AI, Basic FX Suite and Steinberg Plus

Licence cards for Cubase AI, Basic FX Suite and Steinberg Plus are included with a setup guide and USB cable.

Q. How many microphones can I connect?

Four. All four combo inputs take microphones with +48V phantom power; two of them also accept a guitar via Hi-Z, and two TRS line inputs are available in addition.

Q. Can two people monitor separately?

Yes, there are two TRS headphone outputs, and four TRS line outputs for speakers or other monitoring.

Q. What's included in the box?

Yamaha lists a setup guide, USB cable, AC adaptor and licence cards for Cubase AI, Basic FX Suite and Steinberg Plus.

Q. URX44C or URX22C?

Choose the URX44C if you need more than two microphones, extra line inputs or two headphone feeds. The URX22C is the compact two-input model with a single headphone output.
