Product details
Seymour Duncan Voice. Wilkinson Feel. Pacifica Versatility.
The Yamaha PACIFICA612VIIX pairs an alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with Seymour Duncan pickups and carefully chosen hardware. From single-coil clarity to humbucker drive, it brings a broad tonal palette to one familiar instrument.
Key Features

Seymour Duncan HSS pickups
A Custom 5 TB-14 bridge humbucker delivers a full voice with a scooped midrange. SSL-1 neck and middle single-coils add vintage-style chime—a versatile foundation for recording and live playing.
Five-way switching and push-pull coil split
Move between pickup combinations with the five-position selector. The Master Tone control’s push-pull switch splits the bridge humbucker, extending the guitar’s range without adding complicated controls.

Wilkinson VS50 6 vibrato
A knife-edge baseplate, hardened steel and precision-machined zinc saddles give the vibrato a responsive feel. Use it for subtle shimmer or expressive pitch movement.

Grover locking tuners
Locking machine heads help reduce string slippage and make restringing quicker. They complement the vibrato-equipped setup, supporting dependable pitch stability through rehearsals and performances.

Graph Tech TUSQ nut and string trees
Low-friction TUSQ components help strings move freely instead of binding. The nut and string trees work together to support tuning stability when bending notes or using the vibrato.

Alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard
A bolt-on maple neck meets a 648 mm scale and 350 mm fingerboard radius. Twenty-two medium frets and a satin neck finish provide a familiar platform for chords, bends and lead lines.

FAQ
Q. Who is the PACIFICA612VIIX best suited to?
It suits experienced players, working musicians and serious home-studio users who want a versatile Pacifica with recognised aftermarket-brand pickups and performance-focused hardware installed at the factory.
Q. Which Seymour Duncan pickups does it use?
It uses an SSL-1 single-coil at the neck, an SSL-1 RwRp single-coil in the middle and a TB-14 humbucker at the bridge. This HSS combination covers clear cleans, detailed rhythm sounds and powerful leads.
Q. What does the push-pull coil split do?
Pulling the Tone knob splits the bridge humbucker for a brighter, lower-output response. Push it down to return to the fuller TB-14 humbucker voice.
Q. How does the 612VIIX differ from the 112V?
The 612VIIX upgrades the pickup and hardware package with Seymour Duncan pickups, a Wilkinson VS50 tremolo, Graph Tech TUSQ nut and Grover locking tuners. Both retain the versatile HSS Pacifica concept and push-pull coil split.
Q. Is the PACIFICA612VIIX the same as the Pacifica Professional?
No. The 612VIIX is a premium Pacifica 600-series model. Pacifica Professional models belong to a separate, higher-tier Japanese-made range with different construction, electronics and specifications.
Q. Does it include a case?
A case is not included as standard. YMS can help you choose a suitable gig bag or hard case, along with cables, straps and other performance accessories.
Q. Which finishes are available on this listing?
This product is offered in Natural, Teal Green and Matte Silk Blue, subject to current availability. Select the preferred finish from the product options before ordering.
