The Yamaha LP-1B is the black version of Yamaha’s LP-1 pedal unit. It adds three piano-style pedals – damper, sostenuto and soft – giving compatible Yamaha digital pianos the same kind of pedal control found on a grand piano.

The damper pedal supports half-damper response for finer control of sustain. Yamaha lists the LP-1 for the P-121, P-125, P-125a, P-225, P-515, P-525, P-S500 and DGX-670. Please check with our team on the stand needed to fit it with your piano.

Damper, sostenuto and soft pedals

Three pedals in the classic grand-piano layout let you practise full pedalling technique: sustain with the damper pedal, hold selected notes with the sostenuto, and soften the tone with the soft pedal.

Half-damper response

The LP-1 supports half-damper response, so you can control how much the sound sustains rather than switching it simply on or off. This makes pedalling more expressive and closer to an acoustic piano.

Made for Yamaha P Series and DGX-670

Yamaha lists the LP-1 as compatible with the P-121, P-125, P-125a, P-225, P-515, P-525, P-S500 and DGX-670, covering several of Yamaha’s popular portable digital pianos.

Black finish

The LP-1B is finished in black to suit black versions of compatible pianos. Yamaha also offers the LP-1 in white.
