Yes. The 61 keys support Soft, Medium, Hard and Off touch-response settings, allowing volume and expression to follow playing strength.

Q. Does the PSR-E483 have a modulation wheel or expression-pedal input?

No. It has a pitch-bend wheel, Live Control knobs and articulation switches, but no modulation wheel or expression-pedal input. Those features are available on the PSR-E583.

Q. Can I connect a microphone?

Yes. The microphone input lets you sing through the keyboard's built-in speakers while playing. The microphone is sold separately.
