This set pairs the Yamaha Rydeen RDP2F5 five-piece shell pack, built around a 22-inch bass drum, with Yamaha's HWRD hardware set. You get a bass drum, two rack toms, a floor tom and a matching snare, two CL940LB tom clamps, plus boom and straight cymbal stands, a hi-hat stand, a snare stand and a single-chain bass drum pedal.
Yamaha designed the Rydeen for beginner and intermediate drummers, and HWRD is Yamaha's recommended hardware set for the same players. Together they make a complete acoustic kit for home practice, lessons and rehearsals; just add cymbals, a throne and sticks.

Full-Size 22-inch RDP2F5 Configuration
The RDP2F5 shell pack includes a 22 × 16-inch bass drum, 10 × 7-inch and 12 × 8-inch rack toms, a 16 × 15-inch floor tom and a 14 × 5.5-inch snare drum. It is the larger of the two Rydeen configurations, giving a full, standard kit layout.
Poplar Shells and Triple-Flange Hoops
Every drum has a 6-ply, 7.2 mm poplar shell with 45-degree / R1.5 bearing edges and separate lugs. The toms, floor tom and snare use 1.5 mm steel triple-flange hoops, while the bass drum has steel hoops with a colour inlay that matches the finish.
Genuine Yamaha Tom and Pipe Clamps
The rack toms are direct-mounted using genuine Yamaha tom and pipe clamps built to Yamaha's 22.2 mm standard. A versatile ball mount lets you set each tom at exactly the angle you want.
Room to Grow Your Setup
Because the clamps follow Yamaha's standard 22.2 mm specification, you can add other compatible hardware, such as a cowbell or cymbal holder, as your playing develops. These add-ons are sold separately.
P3-Type Bass Drum Head
The Rydeen bass drum uses a P3-type head with a double film at the edge. This provides a muting effect for a tight, powerful bass drum sound.
HWRD Hardware Set with Single-Chain Pedal
The HWRD set includes a double-braced boom cymbal stand and a double-braced straight cymbal stand, so you will not need to buy a second cymbal stand later. A double-braced hi-hat stand and snare stand complete the stands. The single-chain bass drum pedal has a Yamaha sub-frame just below the rocker shaft for extra durability and stability under intense pedal work.
Solid and Glitter Finishes
Rydeen comes in solid and glitter finishes. At YMS you can choose Black Glitter, Burgundy Glitter, Champagne Glitter, Gloss Pale Blue or Sky Blue.

Which drum heads are fitted?
The snare has a coated batter head and a snare-side resonant head, the toms and floor tom have clear heads top and bottom, and the bass drum has a clear batter head with ring mute and a Yamaha Ebony front head with ring mute.
Can I add extra hardware later?
Yes. The clamps follow Yamaha's 22.2 mm standard, so you can attach compatible extra hardware such as cymbal holders or a cowbell. Cymbals and add-on hardware are sold separately.
