Product details
Clear, Bright Pianica Tone with a Wider 32-Key Range
The Yamaha Pianica P-32D is a 32-key keyboard wind instrument: you blow through the mouthpiece while pressing the keys. Its extended 2-2/3 octave range, from F3 to C6, gives students and more advanced players the freedom to play a wider variety of music in ensembles or as a solo instrument.
Yamaha designed the P-32D for rich, clear tones and ample volume, with a sturdy, slim and compact body that is easy to handle. Weighing just 650 g, it suits classrooms, home practice and performance alike.
Key Features
Extended 32-key range from F3 to C6
With 32 keys covering 2-2/3 octaves, the P-32D lets players read and perform more of the music as written. Yamaha positions it for more advanced players who want to play a wider variety of music, with more projection.
Clear, bright tone with a fast response
The tone is clear and bright and speaks evenly across all the notes. Yamaha notes that the sound starts quickly even with a small amount of air, so phrases respond naturally to the player’s breath.
Corrosion-resistant brass sound plates
The internal brass sound plates, also known as reeds, are treated with a special corrosion-resistant coating that helps keep the pitch clear and stable for many years. A seamless rubber seal encloses the air chamber and the valves to prevent leaks.
Individually sprung keys for a smooth action
Every key has its own separate suspension spring with anti-vibration guides. The result is a keyboard that feels responsive and smooth under the fingers.
Lightweight, compact and easy to carry
Measuring 425 × 49 × 96 mm and weighing 650 g, the P-32D is easy to hold and carry between classes, rehearsals and performances. Yamaha describes a durable, lightweight plastic case in a matching colour that can even be used as a music stand.
